What is single die

Single die is the simplest press die, by which only one process step can be performed, and the worker supplies and ejects the work piece from the die by hand.
The production line, which forms work pieces continuously by several press machines with single dies, is called tandem line and it is also called robot line or line pacer in the case that the work piece is transferred between the press machines by carrier machine like robots.
Single die is suitable for the small batch production.
