About Us

MUTSUMI INDUSTRY was founded in 1949, during Japan’s postwar reconstruction. Our journey began with the development of automation equipment designed to improve the efficiency of tile production and protect workers from hazardous tasks. We later began manufacturing the dies essential to tile production in-house, laying the foundation for the business we have today: not simply supplying machines or dies, but proposing better ways to manufacture products.

As Japanese industry evolved, we expanded our business across a wide range of sectors, including electrical and electronic products, home appliances, and automobiles, providing customers with special-purpose machines and press dies that contribute to more efficient manufacturing.

Every product presents different requirements in terms of materials, precision, quality, and production speed. Throughout our history, we have valued listening closely to our customers, having the initiative to investigate and take on new challenges, and maintaining a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
