Prototyping & Development

We connect our in-house technologies to support everything from process planning with production in mind through prototype-die design and fabrication, prototype processing, measurement, and evaluation.

01 · PROTOTYPING & DEVELOPMENT

Drawing on 77 years of experience and expertise developed through press-die and special-purpose machine design and fabrication, we propose optimal solutions.

PILLAR 1

A proposal designed with mass production in mind

We do not stop at prototyping; we consider the forming method with production processes, dies, and equipment in mind.

PILLAR 2

Assess product feasibility

We verify whether the geometry and forming method work through prototype processing, measurement, and evaluation.

PILLAR 3

Verify feasibility through process-method prototyping

We design and build the prototype die and perform the processing, verifying the feasibility of the method with the physical product.

02 · Sheet-metal prototyping and process verification

Verify that the process works with a prototype die and product before production.

We support prototype-die design and fabrication through prototype processing for pre-production quality checks, experiments, verification, and transition to production.

03 · CFRTP PRESS-PROCESSING TRIALS

CFRTP: From prototype dies to forming and evaluation

For CFRTP press-processing prototypes, we design and build a prototype die from the supplied data and perform prototype processing on our in-house equipment. We apply the expertise developed through die design and fabrication to realize rib forming, drawing, and other geometries.

06 · Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about prototyping and development

Q What data is needed to discuss CFRTP prototyping?
We receive 3D CATIA data or 2D drawings and confirm the geometry, forming method, and prototype conditions. Even at the concept stage, please send whatever information is available.
Q Is there a size limit for prototypes?
The maximum die size is 840 × 900, excluding piping, and the prototype guideline is approximately A4 size. It varies with geometry and forming conditions, so we decide after reviewing the data.
