Press Dies
We build press dies such as progressive, single-operation, transfer, and LP dies to match the product and production conditions.
We handle the entire process in-house, from design and analysis through fabrication and tryout.
We support your stable, precise and cost-effective stamping production by die making.
We review the product drawing, quantity, and press in use and consider a die configuration suited to production.
Formability analysis and tryouts help identify production risks before the die is built.
Scope of support
| Die type | Progressive dies / single-operation dies / transfer dies / LP dies / compound dies |
|---|---|
| Analysis | Use formability analysis and virtual tryouts to verify draw marks, wrinkles, and cracks in advance |
| Tryout | Tryout on our in-house press (large presses available) |
| Maintenance | From inspection, grinding, and component replacement through disassembly and overhaul. We also accept dies made by other companies. |
| Additional support | For production, we can also discuss custom automation systems and special-purpose machines, as well as process consolidation using compound dies. |
We handle design, analysis, fabrication, measurement, and tryout in-house.
We handle everything in-house from consultation through design, analysis, fabrication, measurement, and tryout. Please also see the Project flow.

Specification discussion
We review the product drawing, quantity, and press in use and propose a die configuration.

Design and analysis
3D design and formability analysis verify the risk of cracking and wrinkling in advance.

Machining
We machine parts to high accuracy using machining, wire EDM, and sinker EDM.

Assembly and adjustment
We assemble the components and tune the movement and accuracy.

Tryout and production trial
We try out the die on our in-house press and verify product accuracy. Production trials are also supported.
Manufacturing based on numerical verification through analysis and measurement
We use analytical technologies to perform the following:
- Identify forming risks based on the forming limit diagram (FLD)
- Create blank-development drawings
- Verify material behavior using the finite element method and the designed die components
We try out the dies we build on our in-house presses and measure the resulting products and layout. We evaluate whether the required quality is met with numerical data rather than a gauge-only judgment.

Frequently asked questions about press dies
Q Can I consult you when I only have a product drawing?
Q Can you make a die for our press?
Q Can I consult you about whether repair or remaking is better?
Q Can you repair a die made by another company?
Q We cannot stop production. Can you provide an urgent response?
Q Can you also provide regular maintenance after mass production begins?
Consult us about a new die or an existing die.
If you provide the product drawing, quantity, press, and desired timing, we can propose the die configuration and approach.
Consult us when deciding whether to repair or remake it.
